MAGNIFICENT SNOWY OWL

An elegant snowy owl spreads her wings and glides effortlessly above the snow covered field. This magnificent bird of prey means business as she flies in and out nearby barns before landing on the ground. Canadian wildlife photographer Megan Lorenz photographed the owl as it flew through a field in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa. The 39-year-old, of Etobicoke, Toronto, says: “I drove up to Ottawa to take advantage of the high number of snowies that can be found there.
