The view from this rooftop pool is sure to make most holidaymakers envious. With surrounding homes blocking the glorious view of the Mediterranean scenery, the architects of this stunning Spanish villa in the popular tourist destination of Marbella, decided to plant the pool on top of the sun soaked property. Located in Marbella’s upmarket region of Los Monteros, the avant garde property is a private holiday house and boasts a unique pool. The pool has been cantilevered to the roof so the beach and sea can always be seen while sunbathing or swimming. Lounging underneath the glass bottom of the pool is also an option. Designed by international architecture firm Wiel Arets Architects, the house – nick named the Jellyfish House, was completed in 2013.
