Tina O’Brien, 54, from East Midlands, met Frederick Allchorne, now 62, when she was 15. She and her dad lived in his family home as lodgers. One day, Frederick offered to make Tina a pot noodle and after a few bites, she blacked out. When she woke up, she had no memory of what had happened. This was just the start of Frederick’s abuse. For six years, he would put drugs in her food and drink and rape her when she was unconscious. She was constantly in pain down below, but had no idea what was happening to her. Aged 21, Tina managed to escape Frederick. She lived with the abuse until 2018, when she reported him to the police. Frederick pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, five counts of administering a stupefying or overpowering drug with intent, five counts of indecent assault on a woman over 16 and one count of bigamy. In February 2023, he was sentenced to 22 years in prison at Croydon Crown Court.
