HAUNTED ABANDONED ASYLUM

PAINT peeling from the walls and doors left to rot, these eerie pictures provide an insight inside a haunted hospital famed for its strange phenomena. St John's Asylum, in Lincoln, was known for its spine chilling medical procedures - including electric shock treatment - and was often rife with stories about inmates committing suicide in their padded cells. These spooky photographs were captured by student Jonathon Tattersall after he visited the now derelict hospital to get a closer look of what remained inside.
