An owl swoops through the air before making an unorthodox landing - right on top of an unsuspecting man's head. The European eagle owl appears to take great pleasure in landing on the head of anyone walking through the field in the town of Noordeinde in northern Netherlands. Photographer Menno Schaefer visited the location after hearing about the bird's unusual behaviour. The 48-year-old, of Zaandam, Netherlands, says: 'I had heard a lot about the owl and decided to visit the site to see it in action for myself.
