CEMETERY FINES

A COUNCIL has come under fire for slapping fines on people’s GRAVESTONES for breaching petty regulations on pot plants. Several visitors to Alfreton Cemetery in Derbyshire were met with a letter from Amber Valley Borough Council stating they had to pay for a garden permit.
