NERVOUS SQUIRREL

EAGERLY BITING his nails, this little squirrel is clearly nervous of looming predators as he searches for his meal. The anxious squirrel was photographed by Czech photographer Pavel Blazek, 29, after he spotted the little fella eyeing up his lunch in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. 'This European ground squirrel was undoubtedly nervous that something was going to steal his food” says Pavel, of Vlasim. 'With his little paws raised up to his mouth, he looks as if he's fearfully biting his nails as he spots his next meal.
