STOLEN £2K BULLDOG REUNITED WITH FAMILY VIA TWITTER - A £2,000 bulldog puppy snatched from her home by burglars has been reunited with her family thanks to Twitter. Charley the bulldog was just 11 weeks old when she was dog-napped from her owners' home in Cawston, Warks., on October 24. Cruel thieves had smashed their way into Paul and Kelly Tolin's house, taking electrical equipment, jewellery, games and early Christmas presents. But most heartbreakingly for the couple, who have a six-year-old son, Cole, the burglars also took Charley, who was an early birthday present from Paul to Kelly. A Twitter and Facebook campaign was launched to try and trace the dog and - after gaining thousands of followers - resulted in the dog's incredible rescue over 35 miles away in Birmingham. Two ladies who had seen the family's desperate pleas online spotted Charley outside a school in the city and called the police. Five weeks later, the family are overjoyed to be reunited with their dog who has apparently suffered no ill-effects following her ordeal
