SPLASHING KINGFISHER

CAUSING a splash, this determined kingfisher goes hunting for dinner. Dipping and diving, the colourful bird enjoys himself whilst flapping around in the water. This kingfisher was photographed by Welsh aircraft engineer Phil Morgan, 45, after he spent thirteen hours by a stream in Worcestershire sitting and waiting to capture the perfect shots. 'The vast majority of my images are pre-visualised well before the actual event takes place,' says Phil, of Bridgend.
