Throwing their arms up in the air, these energetic squirrels play a game of ball with a walnut. Pictured in a frosty forest with their little paws dusted with snow, the pair of squirrels reach for and pass around the nut. The brilliant images were captured by radio company engineer Vadim Trunov when he spotted these sporty squirrels in a forest in the Voronezh region of Russia. The 30-year-old, of Voronezh, Russia, says: “I started taking pictures of squirrels in the woods two months ago.
