THIS astonishing film shows the moment a hit-and-run driver ploughed into a woman and a toddler on a Coventry street. Amazingly, the 42-year-old woman and her three-year-old nephew escaped with just a few cuts and bruises. The horror of the high-speed crash in Hillfields was captured on CCTV.Police have released the shocking footage in an effort to track down the driver who slowed down before speeding off.The film starts with the woman and her three-year-old nephew leaving the Sky Blue Fish Bar in Hillfields and crossing King William Street at the Canterbury Street junction.They carefully cross the road but at the same time a black Audi estate overtakes a car that’s indicating right. Terrifyingly the car careers towards the pair, before smashing into them and sending them both flying into the air
