LIGHTHOUSES OVERLOOK GLOWING SUNRISES

The lighthouses of Brittany, from Brest to Le Conquet, stand tall on France’s north-western coast against stunning scenery. With the sun rising on the horizon, the beautiful vistas overlook one of the most dangerous seas in Europe. The Iroise Sea was the site of more than 30 shipwrecks between 1888 and 1904, which led to extra lighthouses being built on the coast. Italian Alessio Andreani photographed three lighthouses when he visited France.
