THREE'S A CROWD

SWOOPING down from the sky, this agitated eagle is looking for a fight. This aggressive scene was captured by Canadian photographer, Peter Brannon, in Nova Scotia, Canada. As food is scarce during winter, the birds battle to assert their alpha status. The 38 year old photographer says: “I have been photographing eagles for a few years, and I can recognise certain behaviours which predict when these little eruptions of talons and feathers occur.”.
