A photographer has travelled the length of the UK capturing lighthouses and their picturesque surroundings. From the rocky coast of Cornwall to grassy cliffs on the Isle of Skye, Alessio Andreani pictured lighthouses in five beautiful locations. The 26-year-old, of London, says: "I love taking photos of lighthouses. They probably are my favourite subject in photography. "They are one of the few man-made constructions that I feel actually add something to the landscape, and I love how they are able to face big waves and terrible weather for a really long time."
