A Romanian woman is celebrating her new job as a knife-thrower’s assistant after leaving her family behind to move to the UK. Dumitrita Tudorache, 27, had always dreamed of being in the circus and when the border restrictions were lifted on 1st January, she saw her golden opportunity. The adventurous brunette now works for the Circus of Horrors in London, where a typical day sees her colleague throw flaming knives just millimetres from her face and body. But far from being terrified, Dumitrita, whose hometown of Snagov boasts the grave of Dracula, believes it is the perfect job for her. She said: "I’ve always loved the circus, and as a child I hoped that one day I would be part of it."
