Marisah pictured today with scarring to her left arm - A mother-of-one has revealed how she almost died after suffering a seizure whilst driving that caused her car to crash into a tree and burst into flames. Marisah Izquierdo, 26, from Florida, US, suffered third-degree burns to 40% of her body, lost her leg hand, right pinky finger and right leg. She woke up a month later in hospital, her whole body wrapped in bandages. Clueless to what had happened, her boyfriend and brother had to break the devastating news to her. A year on from her miracle survival, Marisah is now navigating life as a triple amputee and sharing her story to provide hope to other burn survivors.
