UNIQUE CAVE RESTAURANT

DINING under the stars, this restaurant takes you back in time - inside an ancient cave. The cave in Kenya was converted into a restaurant 33 years ago by husband and wife, George & Jackie Barbour. Situated 30km south of Mombasa, the cave is made up of a series of interlinking chambers. Director and owner of Ali Barbour’s Cave, George Barbour, 75, says: “Open to the elements, the cave is thought to be between 120,000 and 180,000 years old.
