This brave Hyena finally catches his pray among the thousands of flamingos, Lake Nakuru, Kenya - OUTNUMBERED among thousands of flamingos, this bold hyena is not put off from hunting for a morning snack. As a burst of pink ascends to the sky, the brave hyena shows no signs of backing down and makes his way in and out of the large flock, in search of his next meal. The photographs were captured by wildlife photographers Michel and Christine Denis-Huot, on a trip to Lake Nakuru in Kenya. 'During the last several years, spotted hyenas from Lake Nakuru have started to hunt the lesser flamingoes which come to visit the lake,' said Christine, 59. They hunt one by one or come in groups of two or three, generally quite early in the morning.'
