A mum-of-two has worn the same t-shirt for an entire year to raise awareness of a 1 in 7 million condition that prevents her daughter from talking. Victoria Feddersen, from Ordsall, Nottinghamshire, challenged herself to wear the same top for 365 days to support her five-year-old daughter, Emily, who suffers from Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS), a rare genetic disorder that stunts the physical and mental development of its sufferers. The 33-year-old began wearing her navy blue V-neck tee, emblazoned with the slogan ‘Phelan Lucky’, on March 3, 2016 and ended her challenge on March 2, 2017.
