A student has finally hit puberty after a four year battle against anorexia stunted his growth. 17-year-old Jordan Caldwell from Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, developed an eating disorder aged 12, when he was dropped from his town football team He believed he was ‘too fat’ to play and desperate to become fitter, he started compulsively exercising and throwing away his lunch. The teenager shrunk to just 5st 3lbs and at his worst he stopped eating and drinking completely. Thankfully, he is now in recovery and has grown 5cm since Christmas 2013.
