SLEEPING BEAUTIES

Lying angelically with a range of expressions etched on their tiny faces, little bundles of joy are innocently captured in their first few days in these adorable photographs. From cute, almost adult-like poses to funny sibling rivalry, the shots capture babies in the early stages of their lives. The adorable photographs were taken by Alicia Gould, 32, when she decided to get into new born photography. 'I like the simplicity of photographing new borns,' said Alicia, from New Jersey, USA. 'My goal is really just to freeze that moment in time, the physical and the emotional. 'I want mum to look at those images ten years from now and see that overwhelming love she had for her new baby, the way they smelled, how tiny their fingers and toes were.
