BETRAYED BY CANCER CON WOMAN!

Recovering from a rare form of breast cancer, Deborah Barnett, 43, of Stoke-on-Trent, thought she'd made it through the worst, but she was betrayed by former colleague Sandra Ramsay, of Mow Cop Road, Mow Cop, Stoke-on-Trent. The 36-year-old participated in a fundraiser for a cancer charity at ASDA and stole the proceeds. This September, Sandra pleaded guilty to three counts of theft, having pocketed the £496 she raised, as well as £123.21 from ASDA, and £30.50 worth of clothing. At North Staffordshire Magistrates Court, Sandra was sentenced to a twelve-month community order, and ordered to pay £650 compensation, plus court costs.
