ADORABLE NEWBORN BRAZILIAN TAPIR AT DUBLIN ZOO

DASHING and darting around in his new surroundings, this adorable newborn Brazilian tapir is making the most of the scorching temperatures. The two-week old calve is pictured enjoying himself in the blazing sun at his new home at Dublin Zoo. He was born at the start of the month (July 1) and is the latest addition to a growing family at the zoo. The stripey tapir is the second calf to be born to mum, Rio and dad, Marmaduke, with brother MJ already a familiar face.
