AN ALBINO skunk has become the proud dad to his very own new-born albino daughter. Just in time to enjoy the warm weather, the little skunk is the third albino species to be born at Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian, Scotland, The baby skunk is daughter to mum Stella, five, and dad Strachan, five. 'Albino skunks are very rare and less likely to have survived in the wild,” says marketing manager Lesley Coupar, 46. “We love having her here at the Zoo, and so far she seems like a normal inquisitive youngster who is keen to explore and is busy learning from mum and dad.' Five Sisters Zoo is also home to an Albino Burmese Python, one of the largest snakes in the world.
