Louise McManaman, 50, from Liverpool, started seeing Ian Blackburn, 62, in November 2021. But in January 2022, Louise's house was broken into. After that, Ian started acting odd, so she ended things. Only, Ian started harassing Louise. In one of his stalking episodes, he proposed to Louise by hanging bed sheets on a busy main road. In another, he advertised Louise on a swinger's website, leading her to receive calls from strangers asking for sexual favours. In January 2023, Ian pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress and was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for 18 months, at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.
