A Kermit the Frog toy made famous by travelling the world is still globehopping, having racked up an incredible 420,000 kilometres to some of the world's furthest flung places. Markus Morgenroth, 35, and wife Conny, 30, have now travelled to 52 locations around the globe with their own Kermit puppet after he became a mini-celebrity on TV in Germany and Australia. Now, after 261,000 air miles and four continents, the smiley puppet has gasped in wonder on trips to his own star on Hollywood Boulevard, Hawaii, Iceland, Shanghai and even a town in west Texas called Kermit. He has totted up 25 countries, adding 12 more stops on his global tour since he became famous to also take in Florida, Dublin, Bratislava, Peking and Vienna.Software manager Markus from Frankfurt, Germany, said he had a life-long love for Kermit and decided to combine his travelling and business trips with the toy.
