SURPRISED SQUIRREL

OPEN mouthed and wide eyed this little squirrel appears startled. Taken aback, he sits with his hands clasped and jaw dropped. The surprised eastern grey squirrel was photographed by Lithuanian photographer Giedrius Stakauskas, 38, on a trip to Bushy Park in London. ‘Even though his little face looks like he’s in a state of complete surprise, he was actually yawning and very sleepy,’ says Giedrius, now of London.
