SLEEP PARALYSIS DREAMS TURNED REALITY

SITTING on a burning sofa unable to move, one man turns his terrifying dreams into reality. The series of photographs were created by American student and freelance photographer Nicolas Bruno. The 20 year old sufferer of sleep paralysis turned to photography as a way to cope with his condition and bring his vivid dreams to life. ‘Sleep paralysis is an experience in which the individual becomes conscious and is left immobile in a state between being awake and asleep,’ says Nicolas, of Long Island, New York.
