The three Afghan hounds, with their ears covered by the headscarves, are clad in an array of colours, from the bright pink of a beaded knitted scarf to the black of a sparkly wrap. The trio of distinguished dogs were photographed by photographer Julia Christe, after she was impressed by how human the dogs looked in their scarves. Julia had completed a magazine photoshoot with one of the female Afghan hounds, Face, when the dog’s owner put a headscarf on the pooch.
