BOARDER” COLLIES AND SURF MAD MUTTS HIT THE WAVES
Dogs catch waves at the Coronado Bay dog surf championships Saturday 22nd June 2013- DOG SURFING mutts have never looked so gnarly. And even when the sea is RUFF nothing will stop them hitting the waves. From a Bulldog catching a ride on a 5 foot wave to a game Labrador riding roughshod into the surf - these pooches were surfing for charity at the Coronado Bay dog surf championships. Battling the Pacific Ocean to raise money to combat animal cruelty these dogs cut a fine figure as they crash into waves. A crowd of hundreds of delighted on-lookers descended on Coronado Bay near San Diego, California to watch their beloved pets tackle the surf. An at the end of a hard-day surfing the tired pooches got a special doggie massage from Local Spa Therapists as an extra treat.
