BIRD ATTACK

A pair of bank myna birds fight it out in front of their ladies. The two alpha male birds push, pull, stamp and kick each other – all to win occupancy of the nesting area. This brutal battle was caught on camera by Pakistani photographer Awais Ali Sheikh, 25, after he spotted the group of bank myna’s fighting each other in Punjab, a city near Phool Nagar, Pakistan. “I heard a lot of squawking from a flock of bank myna birds close by to me,” says Awais, of Lahore, Pakistan.
