BASHFUL ORANGUTAN

A young orangutan comes over all shy as she hides her face behind a broken bucket. After giving her father a quick kiss, she notices the onlookers at the zoo and heads off to hide in embarrassment. The bashful orangutan was photographed by Indonesian photographer Monica Anantyowati, 42, on a visit to Gembira Loka Zoo, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. 'This moment was very special for me as it was one of the most 'human' moments I've witnessed from an orangutan,' says Monica, of Malang, Indonesia.
