A TEN-THOUSAND square foot wide Avatar-style grove is such a beauty it will leave you feeling VINE. In the Hollywood 3D blockbuster Avatar the Tree of Souls wowed audiences with its alien blue and purple colours, now feast your eyes on the Earthly version – this eye-opening Wisteria vine grove. The amazing photographs were captured at the Ashikaga Flower park, home to hundreds of enchanting wisteria vines in Japan IT support worker Jeff Matsuya visited the park in May, and was blown away by the beauty and the number of trees, held up by special poles that allow the vines to climb upwards. ‘Most people react in surprise when they see the Wisteria, as at first sight you wouldn’t guess it were a real plant,’ said Jeff
