A transgender woman has revealed how she was able to fund her transformation using £100K gifted to her by online admirers. Lowissa Jai, 33, from Edinburgh, was born a boy named Jamie Glynn. But after realising that she was born the wrong gender, she underwent reassignment surgery and a string of cosmetic procedures including lip fillers and Botox injections in order to become a woman. Luckily the makeup artist amassed a swarm of online admirers, who were more than willing to foot the hefty bill for her treatments. In total, Lowissa received £150K of donations from strangers, splashing the leftover £50K on clothes and luxury holidays. Single Lowissa has now set up her own voluntary makeup business to help other transgender women, and credits her admirers for her amazing transformation.
