SPECTACULAR AURORA BOREALIS

A SPECTRUM of colours fills the sky during this spectacular and natural display of light. The remarkable scene, known as the Northern Lights or aurora borealis, is a lot closer to home than some might expect, and can be seen from the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. These beautiful images were taken by Scottish fish and chip shop owner Colin Cameron, 37. Having fallen in love with the natural phenomenon at a young age, the Isle of Lewis native wanted to capture the aurora sky in all its glory.
