1940S PUB

History buffs have recreated the spirit of the blitz - by building a 1940s pub. Allan Price, 44, and Mike Smith, 45, have spent over £5,000 recreating a working bar complete with two working pumps, carpets, electricity, a dartboard, old fashioned till and radio. They serve real ale from the pumps in the pub known as The Wheatsheaf in a marquee that is transported to World War Two re-enactment events around the country.
