GIANT JELLYFISH DWARFS DIVER

FLOATING gracefully through the water, this gentle giant is one hundred times bigger than the average jellyfish. Known as a Nomura's jellyfish, it towers over this tiny diver as it drifts through the ocean measuring at nearly 5ft in diameter. The incredible photographs were captured by Brazilian photographer Lucia Terui on a diving trip into the waters of Echizen, Fukui province, Japan. 'On one of my first ever diving trips I had the privilege to dive with this particular jellyfish,' says 40 year old Lucia, now of Hamamatsu, Japan.
